At Different Drop we pride ourselves on having the best range of wine mixed packs in Australia, ready for you to order in just a couple of clicks.
The DD 101 Packs are curated to be a selection of amazing value wines from across the country that give you an insight into some of our favourite producers and wine styles. No 'off the back of the truck' or random home brand wines. These are real wines, made by real people and at under $20 a bottle, they seriously over deliver.
How Tim Knappstein manages to make such astonishing wines at bargain prices is one of South Australia's greatest mysteries - but who are we to question when we all get to reap the benefit.
His 'The Dagger' Pinot Noir is bright, bouncy, and full of life. Great everyday-drinking Pinot and made with such finesse. Fresh cherries and berries wrapped in spice, with a juiciness that goes for days.
If you ask us, it's an absolute steal and one of the country's best value Pinots. A real no brainer here - great buying.
The Cirillo Vincent Grenache is, year after year, one of the country's best-value Grenache. It's also a homage to Marco's father, who passed down all of his winemaking knowledge (spanning 8 generations!) down to him.
Vincent is a charismatic character, just like his maker. It bucks the trend of big, sweet, oaky Barossa Grenache and sits firmly in the bright, cheery and gluggable camp.
A portion of whole bunches give it a lifted perfume and silky texture, while the use of older French oak and stainless steel ensure this is a lot brighter and bouncier than many of its Barossa counterparts.
Exceedingly easy drinking and tremendous value.
The Jungle Jungle (formerly Cherry Fields) has become one of the most popular wines in the Unico Zelo range over the last couple of vintages, and it's in top form again.
It comes from the Polish Hill River sub-region of the Clare Valley, a place Brendan and Laura Carter love sourcing fruit from. When you think Dolcetto you think sweet, fruity reds, but this is anything but.
There's also now some supporting Touriga Nacional from Langhorne Creek, and a touch of Adelaide Hills Nero d'Avola.
Wildly aromatic, vibrantly juicy and surprisingly structural, this is a lot of wine built into not a lot of body. The Carters recommend this wine for "eating with your hands", and 20 minutes in the fridge would do it no harm at all. It's different, yes, but most of all it's just one of those reds that is near impossible to put down.
Bleasdale are an iconic Australian winery. They have an incredible history dating back to the 1850's, when a man named Frank Potts planted the first vines in the Langhorne Creek region. Descendants of Frank's are remarkably still responsible for putting Bleasdale's wines together. A legacy and history as rich as the reds they produce.
Bleasdale are renowned for their Malbecs, and they comfortably lay claim to being one of the country's finest exponents of the variety. To get familiar with their style, the 'Second Innings' Malbec is the perfect place to start.
It's made in a more fruit-forward, early drinking style than the full-bodied Argentinian examples, and is the perfect introduction to the Malbec variety.
It's one of the great wonders of Australian wine how Mike Press manages to pump out wines of this quality for these sorts of prices.
His Cabernet is a single vineyard wine, picked from mature vines in the Adelaide Hills. It's made in a softer, mid-weight style ready and approachable from the day of release.
More outstanding mid-week drinking from the value King of AUS!
"This is super special."

Lock and Key is the entry label of Moppity Vineyards in NSW high country.
Shiraz is what Moppity do best, and at around $20 this little beauty is the perfect way to get to know their crowd-pleasing style. The wines of Moppity toe the line between cool-climate spice and warm climate richness - as owner Jason Brown says, "It's the best of both worlds."
It's firm and ripe yet elegant and balanced - if there's a more complete cool climate Australian Shiraz at the same price then we'd love to see it.
A no-brainer and great value for any night of the week.
