Her mother’s family owned Piper-Heidsieck, giving her a background in two well-known houses before she set out on her own.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eShe now runs the house with her son, Ferdinand Pougatch-Taittinger, from Verzenay in the Montagne de Reims. Production is fewer than 90,000 bottles a year, using both their own vineyards and fruit sourced from other growers.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe range centres on Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims and Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs.
