About The Gin

They say it takes a lot of beer to make good Gin...we agree!
We're in a fortunate position here at Applewood HQ - work hard, love what we do, have a kick-ass team - and finish the day sharing a handful of craft beers with our mates.
In fact - we love visiting breweries - and are so incredibly envious of their attention to detail, perfectionism and rapid growth whilst crafting utterly amazing and creative expressions time and time again - captivating the world over.
So it was only fitting that we celebrate craft beer (Applewood-ified) for Part 3 of our Seven Deadly Gins! Introducing: Gin of Envy. To creatively interpret our brief for this Gin - we kept on the 'green' path and turned towards Wormwood, Strawberry Gum Leaf, Native Australian Thyme, Lemon Myrtle - and a decent citrus-whack from Australian Finger Limes. After a double-dose of Juniper, we weren't quite satisfied...we just had to get in contact with our mates at Little Bang Brewing Company to help us out...generously guided our hands towards a cheeky post-maceration of Galaxy Hops - the hallmark of many-a-craft-frothy!
Still not happy - we took a page out of the Genever handbook and back-added some Malt Spirit to perk things up a bit!
