Frost, hail and a January heatwave all demanded attention, yet the fruit came in close to perfect condition. The winemaking approach is deliberately minimal. Whole bunches picked in the cool of the morning and pressed immediately, fresh juice settled and racked off sediment, fermented cool at around 15 degrees, then cold-stabilised and bottled. As Tim Kirk puts it: \"There are no tricks here.\"\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eFloral notes, subtle spices and bright citrus on the nose. Clean, precise and long on the finish. Clonakilla's own projection is 20 years in the cellar, but it drinks like a dream straight out of the gate.
