The east- to northeast-facing slope has sandy loam, ironstone and quartz over limestone and clay.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor this release, Matt used two flor strains selected through his experience with the style. The wine spent 18 months beneath that yeast layer, without topping up or other intervention, developing texture and flavour as it aged.
