The Mugford family have run the estate for decades and are famous for their detail, and that same care goes into this blend from the Glenmore vineyard a little further north.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e2025 was a warm, even season with good water, so the fruit ripened steadily without the rush of hotter years. The blend is 81% Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Malbec and a dash of Petit Verdot, all hand-picked and sorted. It spent 14 months in French barriques, none of them new, and was bottled unfined.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCabernet leads the way here, with blackcurrant, blueberry and plum, a little violet lift and those cedar and dark chocolate notes Amy's always has in the background. It's medium to full-bodied, with fine tannins, fresh acidity and a more classic, supple feel than the robust 2024.
