This established Piccadilly Valley site gives the 2025 a juicy, lighter-bodied style that’s ready to enjoy now.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAt 560 metres, the vineyard grows on light loamy clay over sandstone, with schist and quartz scattered through the ground. Five Pinot clones contribute to the wine, bringing together fruit from more than four decades of vine growth.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFermentation included both whole berries and whole bunches, followed by nine months in French oak, 20% new. Another three months in tank allowed the wine to settle before bottling.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWild strawberry and fresh red fruit lead, with a little bramble character and fine tannins keeping everything in shape.
