This slow ripening has given the wine an incredible architectural frame.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a texturally driven, savoury take on the variety, steering well clear of sweet tropical clichés. It opens with restrained elderflower, white peach, and grapefruit, underpinned by the classic Dog Point smoky-flint complexity. The palate is punchy and completely dry, driven by a saline acid backbone and a fine phenolic crunch that makes it feel properly structured.
