It's a picturesque site still on the younger side, and they've been patient and deliberate about coaxing the best out of it, working in micro batches and using a range of techniques to pull out the best of what the site has to offer.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eFor the 2024 Pinot, that means a mix of 777, D5V12 and Abel clones from the estate alongside a small portion from a neighbouring Deviot vineyard. Thirty percent went in whole bunch with carbonic maceration, the rest cold-soaked before wild ferment, then pressed into seasoned French oak. Ten months in barrel, bottled unfined and unfiltered.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eThe result is a lovely, aromatic, red-fruited Pinot with some genuine complexity. There's a spicy, slightly wild character from the whole bunch component sitting alongside the fruit, and a fine mineral quality that runs through the finish and keeps it lively.
