While his rare Savennières gets a lot of the spotlight, his entry-level Anjou Blanc shows exactly why his dry Chenin Blancs have a massive cult following.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe 2023 growing season offered a fleshier, more generous style compared to some of his older, heavily austere years. The fruit comes from 40-year-old vines rooted in a shallow mix of grey shale and volcanic rock. Thibaud ferments with native yeasts and uses large, old Austrian oak foudres to give the wine weight, avoiding any sweet wood flavour.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn the glass, it gives off aromas of fresh melon, tart yellow plum, and wild herbs.
