About The Wine
Piquette might be the wine fad these days, but it's a very old-fashioned drink made by adding water to grape skins after a wine is made, then fermenting again.
This jazzy little treat is made from Gewurztraminer, Gamay & Shiraz, that all comes together into a refreshing little spritzy delight.
At just 5% alcohol, this is the very definition of a smashable park wine. Only made in tiny volumes, so unwrap the picnic blanket quick smart.
About Vinden Wines
Young Angus Vinden is the owner/winemaker of this much-loved Hunter Valley winery.
Having taken the reins from his father just a few years ago, Gus is reimagining his family's wine label with a string of exciting, modern wines coming out of his cellar.
He sources fruit from some of the Hunter's greatest vineyards, focusing primarily on Semillon and Shiraz, as well as turning out a very good Tempranillo.
He's one of the young guns of the Hunter Valley that should have a close eye kept on him. His wines are on the up!
