...fresh and easy drinking.

About This Wine
Out of their estate owned Blind Spot vineyard in the Blewitt Springs sub-region of the Vale, this Grenache came off a 50 y/o block of dry-grown bush-vines.
A dry and pale Rose showing aromatics of strawberries, raspberries and subtle white florals. Crisp acidity with bright and ripe flavours of summer fruits on the palate supported by a crunchy texture and lingering finish.
This wine tastes of sunshine, and is one to evoke the memories of the beach days; sea, sunscreen and the rollicking good times of the Aussie summer.
About Willunga 100
In 2005 when they founded Willunga 100, Grenache in MLaren Vale was mostly used for blending. But the people behind this label had a crystalline vision to showcase the variety, and how well suited it was in the region.
To that end, they found some 50 y/o dry grown bush-vines, and began the journey. These days, it’s clear how special McLaren Vale Grenache is.
And the name Willunga 100? It seems that during the settlement of SA, you needed 100 households to get a place on the map, hence Willunga 100.
