About the Wine
Willow Bridge's Dragonfly wines consistently over-deliver for their price - and this Chardonnay is truly an example of that.
It sings the song of the variety, at once showing freshness and vibrancy, but with some obviously astute winemaking, it gets a bit of an edge.
Good Chardonnay can cost an arm and a leg, but here is one that ticks all the boxes of good value Chardy and comes in under $25. The type of wine that will have you saying "we're gonna need another bottle".
About Willow Bridge
Situated high in the Darling Ranges, on Marri soils, lies the picturesque Willow Bridge vineyards.
Vignerons Jeff & Vicki Dewar purchased the 420 acre property in 1996, fuelled by the passion to establish their own business & brand. They planted 150 acres of vines in '97 and '98, in a region that was relatively unknown at the time.
The winemaking team, now led by senior winemaker Kim Horton, are passionate about crafting excellent wines in unison with their environment. Kim firmly believes that great wines are made in the vineyard; the quality reflective of the soil & climate they hail from.
