About the Wine
Are you getting a bit tired of Riesling? Does your Semillon lack sizzle? If you want to try something new, give Chenin Blanc whirl! It's a bright and fresh variety which can give any aromatic white a run for its money.
This is made in McLaren Vale, a long way from its Loire Valley home, but it thrives in the heat and produces slightly riper flavours. Some time in older oak has tamed the variety's natural acid, giving a soft and gentle texture, but it still bursts with an avalanche of lemons, green apples and a fistful of white flowers. There's a lot going on here, especially at this price.
