About This Wine
From the Sutherlands Creek vineyard in Geelong, this wine comes off one of the older blocks planted in the 1980’s, to a Burgundian style vineyard of clonal mixing.
This is the spicier and lighter Pinot offering from Noisy Ritual. Its bright with a lovely juicy texture on the palate almost feathery, all backed up with a great acid line, and fine tannin structure.
Distinctly Geelong in palate and flavour structure, yet perhaps within a lighter frame. A great value Pinot.
About Noisy Ritual
We know winemaker Alex Byrne fairly well, his Byrne Wines, and Liquid Rock’n Roll label have been kicking around for a while now, and the quality/value on them has always been great.
A few years ago, Alex’s mate Cam moved into a house in Brunswick and found an old concrete fermenter in the basement.
One tonne of fruit later, Noisy Ritual was born.
Fast forward a few years, they now have an urban winery in Brunswick with a bar, barrels, a few fermenters, and produce a cool range of contemporary wines from across Victoria.
