I really like this. Beautifully turned out and good to drink.

About the Wine
The Mercer Malbec Noir is a great wine for people with Argentinian tastes but an Aussie guzzler budget.
This is a very moreish wine that'll compel you right from the first dip of the nose into the glass. The fruits are all dark and brooding, with plum and blackcurrant alongside some liquorice spiciness and floral notes of lavender and rosemary flower. The palate is silky smooth with tannins and acidity keeping each other in check, providing balance and energy. The finish is long and satisfying.
A great wine for steak nights or when you're after something a little different to Shiraz. A lovely wine all round.
About Mercer Wines
Hunter Valley native Aaron Mercer has been involved in the wine game for over 20 years, starting from the very bottom, scrubbing tanks.
While he has experience across the globe, he’s made a name for himself in Australia through his previous role at organic pioneers, Tamburlaine.
Now back in the Hunter, Aaron sources sustainably grown fruit from across NSW for his wines.
This is an exciting new project, part of a new wave of NSW producers doing things their own way. With a great range of wines, it a label to keep your eyes on.
