About This Wine
As pale as pale can be, this rose made from whole-bunch Cabernet and Shiraz, is a beautiful and thoughtfully made wine.
As one would expect, the wine is driven by its pretty red berry character, though the flavour profile, which is fuller than the pale colour would lead you to believe, also has some surprising tropical notes alongside some white blossoms.
Savoury, with a creamy texture, and some lovely chalkiness, this wine is simply a delight. Grown-up elegant Rose.
About Medhurst
Medhurst is one of the most beautiful wineries in the Yarra Valley. As you head up the hill past the lake and iconic red pump room to the stunning, architecturally significant cellar door, you realise you're in a special place.
Medhurst was founded by Ross and Robyn Wilson in 2000. Ross, a former CEO at Southcorp, chose the site for its aspect, drainage and microclimate. A cellar door with incredible vistas and a comforting fireplace, and a subterranean winery hidden from view, now adorn the top of the hill.
Medhurst's wines consistently rate highly with experts and the wine-drinking public, so we think you'll love them too.
