About The Wine
A skinsy-tastic variety pack from Sam at Mallaluka with Zibibbo from the Riverland the main protagonist.
The supporting roles are played by Riesling from Canberra and Chardonnay straight out of Hilltops. All are fermented on skins via wild yeasts.
It's an exotic adventure, with rich musk stick florals and a juicy succulent mid palate with some nice supporting grapeskin grip.
It's is, as the French may say, an effing bargain.
About Mallaluka
Mallaluka is a family affair in the Canberra district of NSW.
These estate-grown wines are made by second generation vigneron Sam Leyshon who has most recently learnt to ply his trade assisting Bryan Martin and Tim Kirk at Clonakilla.
These are modern wines that reflect the changing face of this exciting region. He makes wines with a wild side, with minimal intervention and are insane value for money.
With Sam in the driver's seat, Mallaluka is one of the rising stars of the region, bringing a unique light and shade to the Canberra district.
