About The Wine
A lovely, lighter, frisky Grenache wine here from Troy Kalleske & family.
This colourful range of wines from Kalleske aims to take classic Barossa varieties and reimagine them in a modern context. Here is Grenache in a very light, easy drinking style. The fruit for this wine comes off the vine up to three weeks earlier than the other Grenache fruit on the Kalleske block.
Picking so much earlier brings a whole array of strawberry, raspberry and sweet floral notes to the wine. It's also much lower in alcohol (12.0%) than your traditional Barossa Grenache.
It's a very tasty rendition of the variety.

Thanks to seventh generation brothers Troy and Tony they made the move from grape-growers to wine producers, and they produce an enviable range of great value to high brow wines, classic to experimental.
Their 120 acre vineyard that is planted to Shiraz, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Semillon, Chenin Blanc, Mataro, Petit Verdot, Durif, Viognier, Tempranillo and Zinfandel - and it has all been certified organic and biodynamic since 1998.
