Beautiful wine, graceful and quietly powerful...

About The Wine
The Juliard Chardonnay is a brilliant newcomer to the Beechworth wine scene.
Chardonnay loves Beechworth and it seems the drinking public really loves Beechworth Chardonnay. Coming from a storied winemaking family, you can see some of the Sorrenberg DNA in the Juliard Chardonnay. It has beautiful aromas of citrus, almond and struck match, with a bit of toasty oak underneath. It has a salty, minerally character and almost unctuous quality which really enhances its enjoyment.
Overall there is tremendous balance and poise, and it's a wine that can easily be enjoyed now, or even lay it down for a few more years and reap the rewards of some more bottle age.
About Juliard
Fans of Beechworth's Sorrenberg winery may be familiar with the Morey's winemaking son Bernard who, with wife Julia, now runs their own vineyard and label. The wines are a bit of a nod to the stellar Sorrenberg name, although Bernard and Julia are keen to do things differently and forge their own path, combining their first names to come up with Juliard...
While Julia takes care of the marketing and hospitality side of things, Bernard looks after the viticulture and winemaking, and their passion is plain to see. They currently offer a small number of wines – Chardonnay, Rosé and Shiraz – which are already gaining many followers.
