About The Wine
Young Will Gilbert is doing a lot of things right in this elegantly spicy little Pinot. Taking fruit from his stomping ground - Orange - he crafts it in his own way, which comes up trumps.
It's got red berries, spice and all things nice - it's nothing too flashy or serious, but it's dependable... and it's hands down delicious!
When you get that itch that only a Pinot can scratch, give this one a go - it's the perfect answer for daily drinking red.
About Gilbert
Will Gilbert is a seventh-generation winemaker based in Mudgee in country NSW who's taken up the family mantle in recent years.
The Gilbert family sources fruit from local vineyards in and around the Mudgee area as well as from premium vineyards in the cooler region of Orange. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc feature heavily in their excellent lineup as well as a suite of experimental wines, including Pet Nats and Piquettes.
Will is one of the most exciting young winemaking talents in NSW at the moment. If you like to keep your ear close to the ground on what's hot, Will's wines are to have a close eye kept on them.
