About This Wine
What a great showcase for the versatility of Semillon in the Barossa. Hunky Dave Geyer takes the fruit and pushes the boundaries, creating a textural feast from this oft maligned grape.
It’s a lively, interesting take on the variety, the thick skins are unmistakable, and provide a driving grippy mouthfeel, but it’s it retains that high Sem acidy, which just adds so much tang to the wine. Tart, botanic, with just enough orchard fruit and citrus to find a pretty cool balance.
Pretty exciting wine, with the refreshment and fun factors on full blast.
