This has flavour and character. Good drinking and very smart value.

About the Wine
The Freeman Rosso Corvina Rondinella, like their Pinot Grigio, is inspired by the wines of Northern Italy. The Rosso is a wine made purely for enjoying, rather than philosophising. With ripe fruit flavours of red berries and a savouriness giving it some complexity, it's a wine that is incredibly easy to drink. Like the Italians, open it with some pasta or a pizza so you can enjoy "la dolce vita".
Corvina and Rondinella are two of the main constituents of Valpolicella wines in Northern Italy, so it's great to see them being embraced by Australian winemakers who can see their potential. The Rosso is inspired by the table wines of Italy and delivers exactly what it promises.
