About the Wine
The Highbury Fields vineyard is located in Mount Barker with the vines have only been planted on the best soils on the property. Forest Hill love making wines that reflect the site, and this Sauvignon Blanc definitely showcases the great fruits produced in Western Australia.
It's herbaceous, zesty, citrusy and bright - and just under $25. It's a killer Sauvignon and one we reckon you'll enjoy sharing with friends and family in the warmer months - or maybe just by yourself if you're feeling saucy.
About Forest Hill
Forest Hill Vineyard has a unique place in the history of Western Australia’s wine industry, being the first cool climate vineyard planted in the state. Following extensive research throughout the South-West, a site was chosen on the property owned by Tony and Betty Pearce and in 1965 a two hectare vineyard was planted.
Fifty years on Forest Hill is owned and run by the Lyons Family. The wines are crafted in their winery in Denmark with the grapes sourced from the old, dry-grown, Forest Hill Vineyard in Mount Barker. The wines reflect the site, the season and the people that nurture them.
