A true elevation of the variety.
About The Wine
Louis Schofield's Sauvignon Blanc comes from the biodynamically-farmed Brackenwood vineyard in the Adelaide Hills.
It's not your average affair from this region, a lick of skin contact and some time in seasoned oak elevating this wine to a place of texture and serious complexity.
If you're looking for classic Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc, maybe keep looking but if you're after vivacious, lightly grippy Sauvignon with a wild streak - this will be right in your wheel house.
About Worlds Apart
Worlds Apart is the small adventurous label of winemaker Louis Schofield and chef Hannah Jeffery.
Louis was the protege and assistant winemaker of the late Taras Ochota. From the Ochota Barrels wine studio Louis sharpened his winemaking skills and attacks the World Apart wines with a similar low-intervention but high attention to detail philosophy.
The grapes come from small local growers who farm with a sustainable ideology. These are small-batch, high-energy wines that pop out of the glass with loads of personality.
