About The Wine
The Toolangi Chardonnay is a very good value proposition.
The fruit is grown on the Toolangi Estate vineyard in Dixons Creek - one of the most idyllic places in the Yarra Valley to grow premium Chardonnay.
This is a wine that will drink beautifully from day one. It's an elegant style of Chardonnay, with enough flesh and toastiness to keep the flavour hounds satisfied.
An easy to love wine for all Chardonnay fans!
About Toolangi
Toolangi is a relatively undiscovered jewel of the Yarra, tucked in the corner of the Dixon's Creek sub-region up against the Toolangi state forest from where it takes its name.
Started by the Hounsell family in 1995, Toolangi was all about the vineyard, with famous Victorian names taking care of the winemaking.
Now owned by Rochford, the winemaking and viticulture is all in-house, headed by ex-Mount Mary man Kaspar Herrman. His recent releases have seen incredible quality Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with a nod towards more graceful, structured wines.
