...it's a delicious, slinky textured white blend, flush with citrus, custard apple, soft spice, almond blossom, cream and stony tones.

About The Wine
Spinifex frontman Peter Schell is most known for his reds, but 'Lola' has to be one of the most creatively conceived whites in the county.
Schell blends Semillon, Vermentino, and Clairette into a deliciously textural and vibrant table wine. Not exactly your typical Barossa blend!
The fruit comes from a selection of Barossa vineyards planted up to 110 years ago, with Pete taking the best parcels each year to craft the wine he feels the vintage warrants.
I would challenge you to find a more interesting and food-friendly white blend than Lola, and considering its small production and the work Pete has put into crafting it, it really is outstanding value for money.
About Spinifex
Spinifex are one of the 'New' Barossa's true pioneer producers.
Husband and wife team Peter Schell & Magali Gely have extensive experience in southern France, which proves the inspiration for their unique wines made from predominantly Rhone varietals.
Spinifex was on the front line of the new wave of Barossa producers. Peter's wines brought a new sensibility to the region, they were lower in alcohol, concentrated but elegant, and balanced to perfection.
He takes the art of blending into the realm of the virtuoso.
There are few wineries who deliver refinement and poise from the Barossa Valley like Spinifex.
