About the Wine
From some great Sauvignon Blanc real estate - this has a tropical playground in the front garden, with elegantly reserved internal decor, then a long, expansive well-kept backyard.
Fruit is sourced from Wilyabrup and Karridale sub-regions of Margaret River. The southern Karridale fruit generally allows for additional hang time for flavour development whilst the northern, riper, tropically driven Wilyabrup fruit provides the sensory aromatics.
Approximately 30% of the fruit was barrel fermented and inoculated with a wild yeast strain, to provide a hint of flinty aromatics and some texture.

Founded by two wine adventurers, Mijan Patterson and Livia Maiorana, South by South West is a contemporary, meandering négociant working in an age-old profession.
In addition to their own organically farmed Wallcliffe vineyard, fruit is sourced independently from a loyal network of pioneering growers - the results are small batches of unique and ever-changing styles, varietals, and blends that highlight the charm of the south west region.
