About the Wine
The Seppeltsfield Tinta Cao Tinta Amarela Touriga is a rich and bright wine inspired by the red blends of Portugal.
The blend of Tinta Cao, Tinta Amarela and Touriga offers a lovely mix of different characters, such as red fruits, savoury herbs, leather notes and fine tannins. The aromas are vibrant and lean towards florals, with lots of violets and rose. Cranberries, cherries, raspberries and blueberries give the palate luscious and fresh flavours, with the purple colour coming from the addition of Touriga.
This is a moreish wine with nice acidity that you can either drink by itself or with some rich meat dishes
About Seppeltsfield
Seppeltsfield is a Barossa icon winery, famous for its unbroken line of hundred-year old tawny release, and also for its Canary Island date palms which line the avenues of its amazing cellar and winery.
First established by Joseph and Johanna Seppelt in 1850, it has been back in private hands since 2007 after a period of corporate ownership, owned by winemaker Warren Randall.
Their incredible heritage of fortified wines is now being supplemented by a renewed focus on outstanding still table wines. The future seems as bright as its past.
