About The Wine
For a wine with such a dark name the Noirien is a pale and tangy wine, more a cheerful rom-com than an a sinister film noir.
All Scorpo estate fruit, mostly destemmed, with a just a hint of oak aging. This is fresh drinking for now rather than later, with wild raspberry and cherry flavour and all the high acid crunch a Pinot can give.
There is some weight and depth, with gentle, loose, silky tannins and some spice on the finish.
Top notch bargain Pinot drinking.
