About The Wine
A savoury, more vinous expression of the Pinot Gris grape was the idea for Sierra Reed and Jon Ross. That's exactly what they've achieved.
The fruit comes from the Mornington Peninsula, arguably the epicenter for good Pinot Gris in Australia. It was pressed to oak and left alone for seven months before bottling. They wanted to tame Gris' outrageous aromatics and keep a sense of tension and complexity in the wine. They've been very successful.
This is a grown up Pinot Gris, not a casual quaffer but more of a serious, nuanced wine for contemplation.
