Such a lovely drink.

About This Wine
The grapes for this wine come from the vineyards in the hills of San Luigi, San Giacomo and Madonna delle Grazie around Dogliani.
Quite classically styled, the wine has a heady dark floral perfume, with rich fruit notes. Medium to full bodied, this wine is textbook Dolcetto; dark fruits, a silky mouth-feel, and great acid/tannin balance.
It’s a laid-back wine, supple and soft with lots of flavour, all in harmony. There is a simplicity here that makes it utterly enticing.
About Poderi Luigi Einaudi
Founder Luigi Einaudi is credited with bringing modern viticulture to Langhe, when in 1915 he was the first to graft vines onto American rootstock to combat phylloxera.
Now run by his great-grandson Matteo Sardagna Einaudi, Poderi Luigi Einaudi, has passed through family generations, respecting tradition, while still keeping an eye on the future.
In partnership with other growers in the region, they were at the forefront of the creation of the DOCG indication for Dogliani in 2006.
