About the Wine
If you're looking for an authentic Spanish Grenache (Garnacha), look no further. This is one generous and rustic package.
Maestro Tejero are all about making natural wines with no additions, letting the fruit speak for itself.
In this little number, expect to find a lively red fruited-ness backed up by some deep, expressive flavour. There's a line of lovley acidity that cuts through nicely, too. Have a little taste, you'll fall in love with Maestro's renegade-style.
About Maestro Tejero
Alfredo Maestro makes some seriously excellent, expressive, and inexpensive wines from his home in Ribera del Duero.
Defying the conventions and regulations of his region, Alfredo is a self-taught grape-grower and winemaker who learnt how to make wine straight out of a textbook. After a few years of seeing the wines made by classic methods, with adjustments and additives, he threw the textbook away and pursued a more unadulterated, natural way of making wine.
That proved to be a great decision with his wines find plenty of fans across the planet for their raw drinkability and irreverence. These are stripped back Spanish reds with plenty of attitude.
