About The Wine
Louis Jadot is one of the most recognisable names in Burgundy.
With a history that stretches back to 1859, the winery covers plots right across the region from Chablis to Beaujolais and delivers excellent value for money at all price-points.
Winemaker Frederic Barnier makes this Beaujolais-Villages with extended maceration on skins to allow a more serious, structural expression of Gamay to emerge than so many of the lighter, fruitier examples that can be found in the region. Deliciously great value!
About Maison Louis Jadot
Maison Louis Jadot has a rich history dating back to 1826, when Louis Henri Denis Jadot purchased a plot of land in Burgundy. It took around 30 years to fully establish, and generations of the Jadot family have gone on to continue the legacy.
They focus on making high quality wines that express the unique terroir of Burgundy, becoming one of the most revered wine estates in the region.
