This is one of the best value and most consistent rosés around.

About the Wine
Outstanding value Provence Rose made from Cinsault and Grenache.
It's salmon pale rather than watery, dry and refreshing but still with flesh and flavour, and it leaves a bounce in your step, not a hole in your wallet.
There's cherry, watermelon, some tropical peach, and a lovely chalky texture. Provencal herbs can also be seen, but we may be over-romanticising here...
Jules is Julian Faulkner, son of the Faulkner family who took over the Domaine du Grand Cros in the heart of Provence, and who now make both prestige and bargain Roses.
About Faulkner Wine
Jane and Hugh Faulkner are pretty much leading all our best lives. They purchased Domaine du Grand Cros in 1989, situated in the heart of Provence, equidistant from Toulon and St Tropez.
They soon progressed to bottling their own wines rather than selling in bulk, and moved towards greater sustainability, achieving in 2020 the French HVE certification (Haute Valeur Environnementale). Their son Julian is now the general manager.
Their Jules Rose is simply one of the best value Roses in the world.
