About The Wine
Nosiola isn't a grape you come across easily here in Australia - there's only around 50 hectares of this variety planted in the world, and all of them are in Italy.
It's an ancient grape from the Trentino region and traditionally was always treated with skin contact. Staying true to its roots, Foradori's Nosiola saw skin contact for 8 months, ageing in Tinajas, birthing a pure expression of the grape really allowing it to develop flavour.
Filled with exotic fruit and herbal notes, it's fresh, complex and delicious. Let it breathe for a little bit before serving with seafood, spicy dishes or a rich veggie feast.
About Foradori
Elisabetta Foradori is a trailblazing organic winegrower from the town of Trentino in Mezzolambardo.
Her first vintage was in 1984, with her conversion to biodynamics beginning in 2002. By 2007 she was certified and now is considered one of the most forward-thinking winegrowers in Italy with a huge international profile.
Her wines are made with a natural sensibility. The gentle use of clay amphora and inert vessels for ferments and maturation sees her mainline a sense of place from grape to glass.
