About This Wine
Bobinet evens sounds like a fun name for a person, let alone a bouncy fun natural red wine...
Nothing added Cabernet Franc for pretty immediate drinking. Lightly-bodied, tangy red-fruited and there are all kinds of grass, florals and herbs figure in an aromatic whirlpool.
Energetic but on the wilder side of natty wine. Could take a chill for sure.
About Domaine Bobinet
Started in 2002, when Sebastien Bobinet took over 1.8 hectares of vines and the cellar from his grandparents, Domaine Bobinet is leading the way to a more sustainable winemaking future in Saumur.
A 7th-generation winemaker in this region of the Loire Valley, Sebastian has long been regarded as a star of the region.
When in 2011 his partner Emeline Calvez joined the domaine, that cult status was further cemented.
With only 2 hectares of old-vine Cabernet Franc and Chenin Blanc, inherited from his grandfather, they also source small amounts of fruit from neighbouring organic vineyards.
