About the Wine
This deliciously fresh blend of Pinot Noir and Shiraz is a homage to Jeff Byrne's time in the Hunter Valley.
He puts his own little twist on this famous duo, making Pinot the dominant variety with just a splash of Shiraz for some subtle spiciness and added structure. Think dark cherries, red and purple fruits enveloped in beautiful floral aromatics.
All in all, it's a really easy going wine. Perfect for sharing and caring.
About Byrne Farm
Just a couple minutes outside of Orange, on the slopes of Mount Canobolas - an extinct volcano - is Byrne Farm.
After earning his stripes at multiple other wineries in the Hunter Valley, owner/winemaker Jeff Byrne decided to venture out on his own - making the move to Orange with his wife, Bridgette, and their three daughters, Caitlin, Lauren and Bree.
Their first vineyard was only planted in 2020, its high altitude and ferrous soils making it a prime place for Jeff to work his magic with Pinot and Chardonnay.
Jeff is passionate about crafting stellar cool climate wines on his special patch of land, with the help of friends and family along the way.
