About the Wine
Susan & Michael Papps have a passion for crafting wines expressive of the Barossa Valley, and what better expression of the region than Shiraz.
The Greenock Shiraz is crafted from grapes from a single vineyard in the Greenock sub-region. The wine serves as a homage to the vineyard and the growers themselves, while upholding their philosophy of capturing the essence, characteristics and subtleties of the terroir their fruits come from.
It's a beautifully structured wine, lovingly crafted with minimal intervention. If you love a Shiraz from this part of Australia, you can't go wrong here.
About Yelland & Papps
Yelland and Papps are not your average Barossa producer.
Owned and run by husband and wife team Michael and Susan Papps since 2005, their philosophy is about respecting what has made the Barossa great, whilst also experimenting with a new range of grape varieties and winemaking techniques.
Grenache and Shiraz are their primary focus in reds, while their textural Roussanne and Vermentino provide delicious alternatives to the typical regional white varieties.
These are very well made, interesting wines that show Barossa warmth and richness with a little bit of an edge.
