This is a terrifically attractive Pinot Noir.

About The Wine
Andrew Marks is The Wanderer.
He is making some of the Yarra Valley's finest Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah. Working with fruit from some low yielding vineyards in the Yarra Valley, his wines are amassing a big reputation. His Upper Yarra Pinot Noir is a real showstopper - delicate and ethereal, detailed and complex, and just flat out excellent drinking.
Minimal intervention is his winemaking philosophy and it pays obvious dividends in this release. For top class Yarra Pinot Noir, this is right at the front of the pack.
About The Wanderer
The Wanderer is the side label of Yarra Valley vigneron, Andrew Marks, heir apparent to the well-loved Gembrook Hill wine label in the Upper Yarra.
The Wanderer is Andrew's chance to experiment with fruit outside of the family vineyard.
He produces high-calibre Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah, in an elegant and refined style.
These are precise and finely detailed wines made with sensitivity and care that have quickly amassed a cult-like following. Only small amounts of each wine are made.
