About The Wine
Before her life at Terroir al Limit Tatjana Peceric was a dancer - Coreografia, her own range of wines released as part of the Terroir Sense Fronteres line up, is named for that previous life.
Pas de Deux is a blend of fifty year old Carignan and Grenache from the village of Cornudella which, at 700m elevation, is one of Montsant's coolest sites.
Tatjana's lo-fi but thoughtful approach has produced a transparent wine with detail and drive. The fruit is red with floral tones and a chalky mineral edge, the acidity is nervy and energetic.
Tatjana has certainly brought a dancer's grace to this cuvee, a wonderful debut and we can't wait to see more. Get onto this producer now.
About Terroir Sense Fronteres
Dominik Huber has changed the face of Priorat and now he is on a mission to do the same for Montsant. At 800m elevation and with water retaining clay soils Montsant is capable of producing Garnacha (both colours) and Carinena of incredible freshness and finesse and, unlike Priorat, the DO permits a lower ABV so that freshness can be captured in all its glory.
Leading the charge at Terroir Sense Fronteres is Terroir al Limit’s talented Vigneron Tatjana Peceric and her natural flair for the region is apparent. All the wines are whole bunch fermented in concrete, amphorae and stainless steel and infusion over extraction is the norm. Never have the depths of Spain had more nerve, tension, and fluidity, these an extremely satisfying set of wines to explore.
