A wine that was just meant to be.
Steve Pannell, Owner/winemaker
About The Wine
Steve Pannell's affinity with Italian varieties is well documented.
He has been a great champion of Italian red grapes and their suitability in the Australian climate and culture. Steve planted Nero d'Avola (Calabrese) on his Olivers Road vineyard a few years back. The wine is now here and ready to go.
This Sicilian variety makes soft, supple, slurpy wines that work well with a wide range of foods. Steve's central message always focuses around a fusion of wine with the Australian lifestyle. This wine is the perfect BBQ go-to.
A flood of berries, licorice, sweet spices and smooth, soft tannins, it's just a great all-rounder and a great addition to the S.C. Pannell stable.
