Restrained, delicate, youthful and fresh...
Huon Hooke (The Real Review)
About The Wine
This is a fantastic buy for any lover of Hunter Semillon or, really, any dry white.
The crisp, clean flavours of lemon and lime with a zesty, crystalline finish are built perfectly for matching with seafood. Glenguin Estate has absolutely nailed this release.
It drinks beautifully from day one. However, if you enjoyed the honeyed, toasty flavours of Hunter Semillon with a little age, this will mature beautifully for at least the next decade.
About Glenguin
Glenguin started in 1993, when Rita and Robin Tedder fell in love with the estate for its potential to create fantastic Shiraz.
The vines there were planted in the 1980s, with the Shiraz and Semillon being descendants of James Busby's original Kirkton plantings.
They focus on making classic Hunter wines, and they love doing it the 'old fashioned way', ewith everything done by hand.
