The archetypal 'iron fist in the velvet glove.

About The Wine
Barossa Valley Shiraz is one of life's greatest pleasures. The region is home to some of Australia's biggest, boldest and best reds, thanks to (usually) stellar climatic conditions that can produce ultra-ripe grapes with complex flavours. Roennfeldt Vineyard in Marananga is the source of grapes for several premium wines, with vines aged between around 50 and 80 years old.
The Eisenstone Roennfeldt Vineyard Marananga Shiraz is a deeply coloured and intense wine, with dark fruits, spice and chocolate. There is tremendous weight on the palate yet with a silky texture and incredible structure, which can help this wine to age for many years, if you can wait that long.
About Eisenstone
Shiraz, the whole Shiraz, and nothing but Shiraz.
Eisenstone have made it quite clear that they have only one focus, and that is showcasing the breadth and depth of sub-regionality in the Barossa, for its flagship varietal, you guessed it… Shiraz.
Winemaker and founder Stephen Cook sources fruit with the aim to produce wines of depth with exceptional ageing potential.
Small-batch focused, no more that 800 bottles are produced for each individual cuvee.
