Powerful, a little rugged with it, but engaging all the same.

About This Wine
From the first certified organic vineyard in Montsant, Spain, the Selenita Negre is a structured and savoury blend of Garnaxta (don’t you love how each region of Spain spells Grenache in a unique way), and Syrah.
Quite classical in style, this is very much a richer expression of Grenache, yet there is a seriousness to it, with fantastically elegant structure, and depth.
This wine is full of spice, blue fruits and wicked perfume, all wrapped up in a frame that balances tannin and acid in a beautiful manner.
About Dit Celler
Dit Celler is one part of the unique wine co-op, that is Azul Y Garanza (AyG). Three winemakers, producing wines from 4 regions in Spain; Jumilla, Navarra, Penedes, and these, from Montsant.
From the first organically certified vineyard in the region, the fruit grows in the Sierra de Llaberia Natural Park, off vines aged between 25-70 years.
Dani Nogue Sanchez, one of the 3 winemakers in this co-op, started his wine journey here in the region, and as such, Dit Celler is a special project for him; the wines, and vineyard, are very close to his heart.
