A gorgeous wine that should also age well.

About The Wine
Riesling was the first grape planted at Derwent Estate back in 1992 and remains their calling card. It's simply one of Australia's best value white wines.
Single vineyard, old vines, hand harvesting over several different days to add ripening complexity - it's a recipe for a delicate yet complex Riesling, full of chalky freshness and bright stonefruits.
Velvet-like on the palate, with an underpinning crunchy acidity, it's just starting to hit its straps and is a prime candidate for some extended cellaring for mature Riesling lovers.
About Derwent Estate
In one of the more picturesque winery locations you'll come across, you'll find Derwent Estate, just up the Derwent River from Hobart. You'll also find a unique winery made from straw bales, and an historic cellar door building that dates back to the 1820s.
Most importantly you'll find one of Australia's best value wine producers, specialising in Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Riesling in particular.
