About The Wine
Second-generation winemaker Manon Renoux has had a significant hand in the evolution of winemaking styles at her family’s estate in Ventoux.
The ‘pur jus’ range of so2 free wines play very much in the natural wine world. With this co-fermented blend of Clairette, Marsanne, and Vermentino spending time in Amphora under ullage, before being bottled with zero additions. Savoury nutty, and almost vegetal, this unique blend of grapes, alongside the elevage process in amphora, has created a moreish and quirky wine, that keeps bringing you back to the glass for more.
A truly unique offering from an old-school French estate with a modern and forward-thinking future.
About Chateau Landra
Established in pre-revolutionary France, Chateau Landra has a long and colourful history, including the revolution, relationships with Popes, and finally the 2 great wars of the 20th century.
The Renoux Family bought the property in 2007 with the goal of rebuilding the Chateau and restoring the vineyards at the foot of Mt Vaucluse to their former glory. Certified organic in 2009, there are 9 hectares of vines that are now upwards of 60 years old, and Frederic, alongside his daughter Manon carefully tend to the land, with a focus on low-impact winemaking.
An historic French estate reborn, with a contemporary focus.
