About The Wine
The Camille Giroud Vosne Romanee Les Chalandins comes from a village with a stellar reputation for producing burgundies of wonderful precision.
Coming from a mix of vines with different ages (the oldest being 35 years old), around 45% of the fruit was whole bunch, yet the savoury characters gel marvellously with the red-berry notes, rather than overpowering them. The grapes were ripe but not overripe, resulting in perfumed and juicy characters with some added spice, making a balanced wine with bright acid and fine-grained tannins.
While you can drink it young, it will age very well for at least the next ten years.
