About The Wine
The fruit for this excellent Volnay is sourced from two plots, Les Lurets and Croix Martin, in the Southern corner of Volnay, just beneath the Premier Crus and where Volnay meets Meursault.
The fruit is entirely destemmed and the winemaking is gentle and slow. The resulting wine is bright with sweet fruit and lovely perfume. Gone are the impenetrable tannins of yesteryear, this is modern red burgundy at its best.
