About The Wine
Sourced from the Classico (read best!) bit of Soave, this wine is an absolute bargain.
The cepage is predominantly Garganega which offers a lovely golden straw colour and creamy yellow fruit. 10% Trebbiano adds some vim and vigour, and the finish is crunchy, apply and fresh. A super all-rounder that will suit a wide spectrum of drinkers.
About Ca Erto
Soave is one of the shining stars of the Veneto region in North Eastern Italy, producing whites that are both prestigious and popular from local grapes Garganega and Trebbiano.
It's a region where it is important to know your producers, there are some true gems, but, as is often the case in the world’s most renowned regions, there are some duffers! Happily, Ca Erto falls firmly into the non-duffer category, their viticulture is carefully considered, and minimal intervention and their wine making is similarly well managed. They produce a selection of wines that consistently show great typicity, high quality and superb value. The Soave deserves a spot on your standing order!
